AT&T to release LG Phoenix and Thrive this April 17th

AT&T has revealed that they will be rolling out the new LG Phoenix and Thrive Android device in three days’ time, which would mean marking April 17th on your calendar if that’s these phones which you’ve been waiting for.  LG Cell Phone Previews

The LG Phoenix and Thrive are AT&T’s variant of the LG Optimus One. The LG Phoenix should have the same features as the LG Thrive, namely Android 2.2, HSDPA 7.2 3G data speeds, 600MHz application processor, 3.2”  320 x 480 262k color full-touch display, Wi-Fi/aGPS capable, 160MB User Memory w/ microSD storage (up to 32GB), 2GB microSD card installed, 3.2MP Auto-focus camera, Stereo Bluetooth, Quad-band GSM / Tri-band 3G (world capable), 1500 mAh long-life battery, Text/Picture and Video Messaging support and POP3/IMAP/Gmail/EAS email support. Available starting April 17, the LG Phoenix will be offered to postpaid customers, for $49.99 on a two-year service agreement, and the LG Thrive is priced at $179.99 through AT&T’s corporate-owned stores or through AT&T’s website. LG Cell Phone News
