LG on its Facebook page confirmed which of its smartphones will get an official update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the next year. They include the Optimus LTE, Optimus 2X, Optimus Sol, Prada Phone 3.0, T-Mobile’s LG myTouch Q, LG Eclipse (will start rolling-out sometime in the second quarter), and Optimus 3D, Optimus Black, Optimus Big, Optimus Q2, and Optimus EX (coming in the third quarter of 2011). All the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates will come over-the-air, but you’ll also have the option of installing via your laptop or computer. Hopefully, LG company will show the exact release date as quickly as possible.
