Here are undocumented tips about how to use UI in our precioussss LG Cookie KP500 which I found from LG Cookie forum, maybe some of them will be good to all of you.

LG Cookie KP500 tips

  • Every submenu where is list of something (mp3, SMS etc.), if filename (mp3) is too long to display and you need to see it all the way or under sender name/number (SMS) phone display few first words of message.
  • You can force your phone to display it like scrolling text to the left.
  • How? By keeping your finger pressed on that row (SMS, mp3 etc.)…
  • Beware, if you remove your finger it will open it… you can avoid that if you slide your finger out.

Q: On the LG enV2 is there a way to set the homepage for the mobile web browser to something other than verizon’s page?  LG-enV2 info

A: Sure, edit the 30 1E 00 to 30 1E 20 in the beginning of the paramtable1.fil, just like with every other LG phone. Then you can edit the homepage from the WAP Settings menu in the Service Menu.  LG Phone Problem and solution

What you need: a LG Vu data cable    LG Cell phone Software

To apply this to your LG VuLG-Vu info
1) Connect your phone with EFS (See the FAQ if you don’t know what it is).
2) Navigate to LGAPP > Pxo.
3) Delete the screenlock.pxo (Note: to locate the file faster, highlight one of the pxo and then press “s” on the PC keyboard and you’ll get to the “s” section a lot faster)
4) Replace it with the one attached to this post after renaming it respectively (must be Screenlock.pxo).
5) To test out your new screenlock, press the unlock a few times and you’ll see it get updated.
