Yes, it is called USB Mass Storage which should be able to work with the LG Dare.
Plug the phone in (make sure all drivers/software is installed) then go to Settings & Tools then click on tools and then USB Mass Storage. Then click on Computer (or My Computer) on your comp. It is one of the external file storage things…treat it just like a flash drive. LG-Dare info
Problem: I have bitpim installed on my LG dare, it has recognized my Dare phone just fine, but now I can’t get it to DO anything. LG Cell phone Software
Every time I try to import data from my LG dare, I come up with an error, where my options are abort bitpim, continue, create trouble report, and…something else
the exact same thing happens when I try to export data to my LG dare. Basically, I can’t get any of my phone’s data to show up in bitpim. LG-Dare info
Solutions: Connect the LG dare and run bitpim. (dont press any import data or anything)
